Life as we know it

December 5, 2007 at 5:19 pm (Uncategorized)

Almost done with all that CRAP we call schoolwork.

Christmas, now, need, food, company.

The Bath
Ruba dub dub,
Toys in the tub.
Scrub behind your ears,
Don’t place that there.

Ruba dub dub,
Water filling up.
Splashing and thrashing,
Makes things fall in.

Ruba dub dub,
Toys in the tub.
Unearthed wires mean
That they don’t know till after the soap operas.

Hello world!

December 2, 2007 at 3:04 pm (Uncategorized) (, , )

Weeeeellllll, looks like the blog band wagon is slightly fuller today.

Here’s the first post then, enjoy. Do comment, and have a nice day!

The Story of the Boy who Dared

There was once a boy, who dared to believe that one day, it would all come true.

Before that, he was a man. Different events and actions in life moulded him into the hard-thinking, step watching individual that was in line with what men become. He was one of them, watching his steps, thinking about what to do before he did it.

Happy that he grew up, the boy went on living as it all should be. He was unstoppable, finding the formula to life as he knew it was indeed beneficial. Nothing could slow him down, and any nuisances were assimilated or cast aside easily.

All was going fine. However 3/8 the way through his life, he hit a pretty brick wall.

Well, it wasn’t exactly a brick wall. But she sure was pretty. Try as he could, the man couldn’t break down or assimilate the wall. And he did NOT want to move past her,  not just like that. His frustration grew, and he resorted to everything he was taught. Try as he might, he was unable to move along.

Arranging an appointment with the top management of logic did no good at all. The only answers he got were “just give up, move on now”, “find another” and “wake up, stop mucking there”.

“I’m smart, i can figure this out, even of they can’t” he thought to himself. Taking a trip into his head, the man searched for the answer. He found many things, old discarded entries mainly. Happy ones, sad ones. Unfortunately he couldn’t find any answer at all, and he moped for a fair bit.

Then it struck him.

“It’s time to take two steps back before one forward”

Brushing away the cobwebs, he stepped forward into the door within his mind which he thought would never do him any good, not while he was a man.

He walked backwards, into the mind of the child.

Moments after he walked back in, he felt as if a thousand weights pressed upon his shoulders. Try as he might, he couldn’t shake them off. Then the solution struck him like a ball in his face, literally and physically. Upon it were the words “worry not”

And so he did, and at once, a thousand weights were lifted from his shoulders.

Moving on,

There was a large body of water, and within it, stirred nothing. For a fleeting moment, the man felt the immense fear he had while he was a child. If nothing stirred within the water, the surely, nothing could survive in it.

The second answer hit him like a pang in between the 19,020,127,542nd heartbeat of his life. “Walk”

And he did, nothingness had nothing against him now. He was on his way.

It was then he faced himself, yet not quite him. It was him, but many years younger. There was a grin stretched upon his face, and the younger ran to embrace the man.

“Watch my wildest dreams come true, because nothing can stop us now.”

Out walked the boy, and he dared to dream.
